It took me about 30 seconds to weigh my options and I decided to give it some sleep before making any attempts, which I then scrapped, to find myself in the above stated exploit scenario. Just as I saw the Shambler and the other dimension, my eyes widened by the shock. I don't know when exactly the retreat option kicks in or if it's blocked completely in certain circumstances (Shambler dimension, ambush?), but quitting and rejoining made the retreat option be available without any delay.Īnd here's a compliment to the team. Immediately retreated, then left the dungeon Suddenly the fight was not taking place in the "other dimension" anymore, retreat option was available (- Noticed that I pushed my luck too far, stared at the screen in disbelief) Got sucked into the "other dimension", I got the first turn, but retreat option not available Went there at 0 light, spawned a Grotesuqe Shambler Went down a hallway with a scouted fight spot (felt uneasy already) I wanted to finish one more fight so I could fill up the last inventory slot and I was loaded with heirlooms and other great valuables. Medium difficulty LONG dungeon, full party, at 50% HP (1 DD and other debuffs) with no recovery or light resources (no healer either).
